>He spent all his time wrapped up in a fit of fury trying to find a Wife or something…
>>Like a Knife at yer throat!
>Now, he’s all ‘pressed-like and sleeps all-day-long on an old Coffin down in da Basement!

Other people are already applying for the bands I'm in to play at Horrorfest.
However, as a service for those of us living in cultures where Hallowe'en is not Much Of A Thing, may we have a reasonably precise statement as to what the "Halloween spirit" entails, i.e. the limits bands must respect? Some of us like to test the bounds of our confinement while not disrespecting the concept for the event.
In other words, when is it "horror"?
We already have: "Horror, Metal, Hardcore, und alles, was angemessen erscheint. Denken Sie daran, dies ist nicht eine nette Show und es wird von abscheulichen und bösen Hobbit-Goblins gehostet".
Does the music need to be some kind of hard rock? What about other genres -I can think if both jazz and classical pieces which are scary to me. And does "forceful" rather than "scary" count? Personally I also consider Mr. Bieber's work horrible, but I'm guessing such music would not be appropriate for Horrorfest.
And how do lyrics figure in? If lyrics for a song are sufficiently "Hallowe'en-y", does the musical genre matter less for that song? For a RL eggsample, "Mother" by Pink Floyd totally gives me the chills every time I hear it.
Finally, and almost off topic to my main question, what about putting in something else, a single song or tune perhaps, for contrast? Like, think "Planet Caravan" in the midst of a Heavy set.

Your style of music is entirely up to you, but we hope that the mood, attitude, and lyrical arrangement is scary, spooky, dreadful, macabre, and generally like what you may expect from Halloween.
da Bugans are attempting to "power-up" the Gaunt-lord stage in-order-to cast a spell on a Frankenstein-like Bride... people will "die", be "resurrected" and "zombified" (or however else they'd like to RP themselves), while we merrily drink Blood of various races in Middle-Earth and eat Slug Slime Meat. The Music and Mayhem they need to summon this year's Horrors comes from you and all the willing Players of LotRO!
You ask, what da Bugans' Horrorfest Halloween Spirit entails?
>>Entrails, is more like it.
>This is fiction which is intended to, or has the capacity to frighten, scare, disgust, or startle the participants by inducing RP that contains bloody violence, terror-themes, scary images, morbid events, haunting environments, as well as loud screaming and howling throughout.
>>Welcome to HORRORFEST!!!

That is well. I'll take a look at what songs I may have about massacring orcs, goblins and wargs.

We had an amazing turn-out of roughly 24 Bride Candidates (most, if not all, were successfully sacrificed), and 28 Bands! Everyone played amazingly horrifying sets of dread and terror – da Gaunt-lords were pleased!
Since favor was bestowed upon da Bugans gang by the Lotro Community, we issued gifts to each of the Brides that participated in the event. So, if you participated in the Bridal Sacrifices event(s), please log into your character on Landroval and check your mail!
Also, Forte, Zedrockk, and Hollyberye captured live-feeds of the show, and have or will be posting those videos for anyone willing to brave the Horrors again!
Here are some links to steer you in the right direction:

Lastly and most importantly, we Bugans would like to thank all of the staff members that came together to make this festival happen. My biggest thanks and debt belongs to the following players: Hollyberye, Zedrockk, Chukkato, Grumpkin and Sobrandbow! Special thanks and appreciation is also extended out to Forte, Bilwise, and Diddles for helping to vendor out our Slug-slime meat, and various Blood of the free-folk as food and beverages for the attending audience members.
If you are interested in more Horrors, please feel free to send an in-game mail or /tell to “Skoch” on Landroval or Laurelin! Random is RP especially encouraged!
Again, thank you and big Goblin-slime hugz to everyone that attended and survived Horrorfest III: Bride of Buganstein!

I want to thank YOU, Skoch--a da Bugan of enormous creativity. It was quite an experience working with you. Thanks for all you did to produce such an amazing event.
And thank you for letting me expand my lyric bounds again by singing about the da Bugans in such an insulting and horrifying manner ;-)...I had to assure a few people you love and expect that, that it is was in in keeping with the theme :).
All of my YouTube videos are finally posted on the Hollyberye channel.
